Exciting News: GLSEN Arizona is becoming Education Action Alliance!

We’re thrilled to share some exciting news about the future of our organization.

After 22 years as the GLSEN Arizona Chapter, we are taking an important step forward: transitioning to an independent nonprofit organization called Education Action Alliance.

This move enables us to expand our efforts statewide, collaborate more effectively with community partners, and design our work to meet the specific needs of Arizona’s K-12 school communities.

While the name and structure are changing, our vision remains the same: healthy K-12 school communities free from discrimination where students, families, educators, and neighbors can thrive and succeed with joy, regardless of who you are or where you live.

We will continue collaborating with GLSEN and other partners to advance our shared goals of creating safe, inclusive, and affirming schools communities.

Here’s how you can join us on this exciting new journey:

• Celebrate with Us: This is a milestone we’re excited to share with you, our valued supporters. Together, we’ll build a foundation for long-term sustainability, mobilize communities, and strengthen our evidence-based model of education transformation.

• Engage in and Champion our Programs: Current programs to advance LGBTQ+ inclusive education practice and policy will remain active as we develop complementary ones.

• Donate: Your generosity fuels our work. Make a gift today to support LGBTQ+ youth and education justice in Arizona.

• Stay Connected: You’ll continue to receive updates and communications from us under our new name, Education Action Alliance.
